People use the start of a new year to set goals and make changes
in their lives. Many make new year resolutions like going to the gym on a consistent basis, creating a personal budget, going to Church more often, or developing a relationship with God. Unfortunately, as the New Year becomes less new, people forget the commitments they made and continue to live the way they have always lived. Most people have uphill hopes but downhill habits. Aristotle said “We are what we repeatedly do.” People want to draw closer to God but fail to develop important spiritual habits in their lives. In our series, Uphill Habits: New Dedication for a New Year, we will teach on how to develop the habits of prayer, fasting, giving, and faith in your life. God wants you to draw closer to Him in 2019. You don’t want to miss single week of this life changing series! |
